Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all subscriptions and purchases made on the Emogent AI platform. Please read this policy carefully before subscribing. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.
1. Subscription Model
Emogent operates on a subscription basis. Fees are charged in advance — monthly or annually — and grant access to the platform for the billing period. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Auto-renewal notice: Your subscription will automatically renew at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You will receive a reminder email before renewal.
2. Free Trial
If you sign up for a free trial, no payment is taken during the trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will not be charged unless you explicitly choose to upgrade to a paid plan. You can cancel or let the trial expire without any obligation.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your Emogent subscription at any time from your account's Billing settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain full access until then.
- After cancellation, no further charges will be made
- Your account data will be retained for 90 days after the subscription ends, after which it will be permanently deleted
- You may export your data (leads, call logs, knowledge documents) at any time before deletion
4. Refunds — Monthly Plans
Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once charged. If you cancel a monthly plan, you will not receive a refund for the current billing period, but you will not be charged for subsequent periods.
Exception: If you experience a significant service outage caused by Emogent (i.e., the platform was unavailable for more than 24 cumulative hours in a billing period), you may request a prorated credit for the affected period. Contact us at admin@emogent.ai within 7 days of the incident.
5. Refunds — Annual Plans
Annual plan fees are generally non-refundable. However, if you cancel within 7 days of your initial annual subscription purchase, you are eligible for a full refund, provided you have not placed more than 50 AI calls during that period.
After the 7-day window, no refunds will be issued for annual plans. You may continue using the Service until the end of your annual period.
If Emogent discontinues the Service entirely, a prorated refund for the unused portion of your annual plan will be issued automatically.
6. Usage-Based Credits
If your plan includes usage-based call credits (minutes or call units), unused credits at the end of a billing period do not roll over and are forfeited. Credits are non-refundable once purchased.
7. Disputed Charges
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us within 30 days of the charge at admin@emogent.ai with your account email and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
We strongly encourage resolving billing issues with us directly before initiating a chargeback with your payment provider, as chargebacks may result in account suspension.
8. Account Termination by Emogent
If Emogent terminates your account due to a violation of our Terms of Service, no refund will be issued for any unused subscription period.
If Emogent terminates your account for reasons unrelated to a Terms violation (e.g., a business decision to discontinue a feature), a prorated refund will be issued for the unused portion.
